TEAM AND ROLE

The Corporate Accounting Manager is mainly responsible for overseeing all the accounting activities such as budget and forecasting, regulatory compliance, and accuracy and timely financial reporting of the business unit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING

Present financial statements to the management with meaningful insights and analysis
Identify accounting-related and financial reporting issues and recommend data-driven solutions

BUDGETING AND FORECASTING

Present budget to management and able to explain in detail the variances if any
Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget
Effectively control expenditures through policy creation
Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations to optimize financial resources
Approve operating expenditure requirements and justifications

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Secure annual permits and accreditation licenses from government agencies and research on latest development in tax, permits and financial reporting
Ensure timely reporting of annual financial statements and other regulatory requirements to comply with SEC and BIR
Ensure compliance on the monthly, quarterly and annual filings of BIR returns using EFPS to comply with reportorial requirement of BIR
Oversee tax planning and compliance, working closely with legal tax advisors to minimize tax liabilities
Ensure annual compliance to external auditors and timely release of audited financial statements
Oversee tax audits and lead the team in necessary reconciliation to address the assessment of the examiner

SYSTEMS PROFICIENCY

Create or update existing policies and procedures related to process improvement
Understand the full accounting and hotel business processes

INTERNAL CONTROL AND AUDITING

Review and analyze contracts and other third party documents
Oversee incorporation and setup of new entities
Address audit findings by creating or updating policies and procedures
Understand the company's internal controls and strategize how it can help the team in processing transactions of the organization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
At least 8 years of related accounting work experience in real estate, hospitality, high-rise and/or township developments
With experience handling a team

Project Accounting Manager

TEAM AND ROLE:

The Project Accounting Manager is responsible in approval of payment processing while ensuring budget control. This includes review and analysis of all financial reporting per project such as job costing, accounts payable and month-end reports.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING

Present financial statements to the Management with meaningful insights and analysis
Identify accounting-related and financial reporting issues and recommend data-driven solutions

PROJECT MONITORING AND REPORTING

Work closely with the project development group on the actual vs budget reports of all projects, as well as cases when project has material variance between approved funding and actual spending
Manage budget reallocation requirement in coordination with project development group

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Plan and recommend policies to lessen tax exposure and minimize taxes due
Handle tax audits and do necessary reconciliation to address assessment and findings

SYSTEMS PROFICIENCY

Create or update policies and procedures related to process improvement
Understand the full accounting and hotel business processes

PAYABLE AND PAYMENT

Oversee payment to vendors and ensure SLA are met based on approved policies and procedure
Ensure checks are funded prior payment to vendors
Evaluate if approved funding is met vs actual spending of project development group

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
At least 8 years of related accounting work experience in real estate, hospitality, high-rise and/or township developments
Strong people manager
